Welcome to Dice Chess Tournament in Sigulda!
Date: The tournament will take place on August 15, 2025, starting at 16:00.
Location: Ābeļdārza street 1, Sigulda
Organizers: Public Benefit Organization “Dice Chess Federation” in cooperation with the Sigulda Chess Club and the “Croquet Club SIG-LIG”.
Game format: Swiss system – 6 double rounds (two games against each opponent, a total of 12 games).
Time control: Each player has 5 minutes per game + 5 seconds per move.
Tiebreakers: In case of an equal number of points, the following tiebreakers will be used:
1) Buchholz.
2) Improved Buchholz.
Participants: All game enthusiasts are warmly welcome to participate, regardless of age or skill level. The tournament is of an open type, and players from other countries are also invited to join.
Participation fee: 7 EUR Mandatory payment by bank transfer!
