On August 20, the stylish Kalnciema Quarter hosted Chess Day, which brought together 109 participants in the tournament.
Dice Chess was also there — we joined in everywhere and saw everything! On this sunny and slightly windy day, people had the chance to discover this exciting and very easy-to-learn game.
To play, all you need is a chess set and dice — and then the real battles can begin to decide who will “wash the dishes at home.”
The event gathered enthusiasts of all ages and continued until nightfall.
The Dice Chess Federation had also prepared prizes for the best U-18 and G-18 participants. The winners were Pauls Veitners and Bella Tifanija Jakabsone.
