On August 15, 2025, an exciting Dice Chess tournament took place in Sigulda with a prize fund of €226. The tournament was organized by the public benefit organization “Dice Chess Federation” in cooperation with the Croquet and Chess Club “Sig-Lig.”

The event gathered 21 participants in the beautiful garden of the “Sig-Lig” club, which is also one of the largest croquet lawns in Latvia. This venue gave the tournament a special charm – spectators and visitors could not only watch the Dice Chess battles but also try their hand at croquet.

Such cooperation between different sports and board game clubs proves that community and joint activities are the cornerstone for the future growth and recognition of these games.

The tournament, as usual, was held in a friendly and respectful atmosphere, where every participant enjoyed both competitive excitement and positive emotions.

The weather was perfect for the occasion – warm and sunny – making the event even more enjoyable.
